It was in 2005 when the psychologist worked on a formula to determine which was the worst day of the year. From there, the third Monday of January was marked as the saddest day of the year.
After all the Christmas overeating and gift collection, many families have not recovered emotionally, –not to say financially– when they start worrying about those complex new year’s resolutions that they still don’t know how they will be able to achieve. So many people start to get frustrated. The weather doesn’t help. In many places, it’s cold and rainy; thus, there is a lack of generalized motivation.
Nonetheless, this formula has been criticized and questioned, but there is no doubt that the day exists and that social networks are covered with messages of encouragement to overcome the most depressing day of the year.
Do you agree that today is the saddest day of the entire year?
